FAQ

How do I copy/paste text from a Word document into CORA?

Copying text directly from Word can bring hidden formatting into CORA, which may cause the text to display incorrectly on the site. To paste text cleanly:

  1. Copy the text from your Word document.
  2. In CORA, click the Paste from Word button in the editor toolbar. It looks like a clipboard with a “W” on it.
  3. Paste your copied text into the window that appears and click OK.
  4. Use CORA's editor toolbar to add any formatting you need, such as bold, italics, bullet points, headings, or links.

Tip: If you don't use the Paste from Word button, pasting with Ctrl+Shift+V (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+V (Mac) may also remove formatting, depending on your browser. However, Paste from Word is the preferred method for Word documents in CORA.
