Donna Witek is an Associate Professor and Public Services Librarian in The University of Scranton's Weinberg Memorial Library. She serves as liaison to the Theology/Religious Studies, English & Theatre, Sociology/Criminal Justice, and Women's Studies departments, and provides research services and support through information literacy instruction and reference service to members of the university community. She also serves as coordinator of the Library's virtual reference services, and is a member of the collection development team.
She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama and English Literature from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, her Master of Library & Information Science from Long Island University’s Palmer School of Library & Information Science, and her Master of Arts in Theology from The University of Scranton.
Interests and Expertise: social media and information literacy; metaliteracy; technology and critical pedagogy; collaboration with faculty across disciplines; information literacy and writing programs; effects of technology on theological information; worship, liturgy, and liturgical theology
