Research Wizards

The most powerful wizards have gathered to battle one another.  Only one will win.  Wizards must use reliable sources to research incantations for the battle, or their spells will fizzle.  Truly wise wizards must learn to tell the difference. 

Quizizz

This site gamifies and enlivens quizzes. The upbeat environment allows for optional music, immediate feedback, timers, and fun memes. You can create your own quizzes or borrow and modify from an extensive bank of existing quizzes. After students take quizzes, you can view and download results to Excel. Use Quizizz for formative assessments, checking for understanding, and exit tickets. Note that all questions are multiple choice.

Kahoot!

Kahoot is a game-based classroom response system that can be played by the whole class in real time. Using a simple drag and drop feature, instructors can create multiple-choice quizzes, discussion, or surveys which can be embedded with images, text, or video. Questions are projected on the screen, and students answer with any device. 

Socrative

Formative assessments through quizzes (multiple choice, True/False, and short answer) or quick question polls for up to 50 students per session. Quizzes can be instantly graded and aggregated. Also, up to 20 students can play the "Space Race." 

FlipQuiz

A quick way to create your own gameshow-style boards (e.g. Jeopardy) for test reviews in the classroom. Text-based questions are displayed on-screen and boards are saved for later use. You can create up to 6 categories, with 5 questions per category. Up to 10 teams can participate. Each question is worth a different amount of points, from 100 points to 500 points.
