Ken Liss | Head of Liaison & Instruction Services
Ken Liss is Head of Liaison & Instruction Services for the Boston University Libraries. He coordinates librarian collaboration with and support for BU faculty and students with a special focus on information literacy knowledge, skills, and habits of mind. Ken has been at BU since 2014. He has also worked as a librarian at the Boston Public Library, Harvard Business School, and Boston College. In his spare time, Ken writes and researches on local history as head of the Brookline Historical Society.

In this lesson students view a series of short videos about searching library resources, interspersed with exercises in which they conduct searches on their topics and reflect on what they find and on the research process. (The first two videos and accompanying activities are done outside of class; the third can be done in class.)
