I was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas in August of 1966. I attended Farmington public schools and graduated from Farmington High School in 1985. I Married Crystal Taylor in September of 1989 and spent just over 15 years in the Military stationed in Biloxi, MS; Camp Humphries, South Korea; Nuremburg, Germany, Ft. Huachuca, AZ, and various other places around the country and the world on temporary duty. During this time I was able to complete a bachelor’s degree in theology from Bethany Bible College and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Thomas A. Edison State College. I Left the military in January of 2000 and my wife and I moved to Russellville, AR to attend Arkansas Tech University after which we moved to the Dallas area to teach mathematics at Canyon Creek Christian Academy in Richardson, TX. After four years at Canyon Creek we moved back to Russellville, AR to attend graduate school at the University of Arkansas and the University of Central Arkansas. There I obtained a master’s degree in education and acquired sufficient graduate hours in mathematics to teach at the college level. I am currently seeking a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University.
