Upon completion of my graduate studies in Library Science, I served from 1983-1985 as cataloger at Miami Christian College in Miami, Florida.  From 1985 to 1987 I worked for the Florida State Dept. of Corrections as Librarian at The South Florida Reception Center (SFRC).  I was given the unique opportunity to develop the SFRC library from its inception as this new maximum-security men's prison in Dade County was still under construction when I was hired.   Two years in prison was all I could take and in 1987 God in His mercy enabled me to take a position as a Reference Librarian at the Coral Gables Branch Library of the Dade County Public Library System.  My heart's desire has been to work in a Christian college or seminary and in 1989 God answered this prayer by offering me the opportunity to serve as College Librarian for The Master's College.  In 2000 I realized I could be of greater service as Reference Librarian and so I hired John Stone to take over as College Librarian.  I have been the Reference Librarian ever since.  I also now serve as Institutional Copyright Specialist.
