Bio:
After graduating with my BS Elementary Education from UW-Eau Claire, I started my career as a 3rd grade teacher in North Carolina, and soon after jumped on a plane and headed to Barrow, Alaska to become the elementary school librarian in the northern most city of the USA. After a few years I obtained my masters from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver and traveled back to my home state of Wisconsin where I became the elementary librarian for the Wautoma Area School District. After I became a mother, I enjoyed a brief stint as a public children's librarian in the city of Elkhorn, WI, and soon after opened my own preschool, which ran successfully for 8 years. Last year I returned the schools and became the district librarian of the Burlington Area School district. I have really enjoyed returning to the field and the new tools that are available! I'm always ready for the next adventure!
