The Science & Technology Section (STS) is a section of the Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL), a division of the American Library Association (ALA).

This guide is intended to provide a place for librarians to find resources to guide their information literacy instruction for science students and faculty.

The “Framework Spotlight on Scholarship” column is a weekly post series written by Donna Witek highlighting scholarship that uses, builds on, critiques, or responds to the Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education.

Since 2013, the Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois (CARLI) Instruction Showcase has offered academic librarians from Illinois the opportunity to share tips, tricks, and techniques they have used in library instruction. This Toolkit maps those instructional activities taught at the CARLI Instruction Showcase to the Framework, with the hopes that instruction librarians can use these presentations as resources for creating and/or re-imagining their own library instruction to accord with the Frames.
